When you have a toddler, a fairly innocuous word in the English vocabulary becomes one that you truly dread – “Why?” It’s amazing how your little one can use it repeatedly and for extended periods of time. And after a while, the old “Because….” doesn’t do the trick anymore and you have to come up with a satisfying response or face a barrage of more questions. ”Why do dogs bark?” ”Why don’t they talk?” ”But why?” ”Why?” ”WHY?!?!?!?!” It’s enough to drive you insane.
Enter our latest “Don’t you wish this really existed” Mom Shopping Network spot for NickMom, The Whyner. I bet you’d pay a whole lot more than $39.95 for one of these babies!

It’s always fun coming up with the “products” for the Mom Shopping Network spots we produce for NickMom. They’re a combination of the ridiculously outrageous (like The Motivator) and the kind-of-crazy-but-I-still-wish-it-existed (I would sign up for the Pretend You’re Perfect Kits in a nanosecond!). The latest short definitely falls into the latter category. It’s something I’d buy no matter what the price and I dare you not to want some Mollification for yourself after watching this:

Danielle spent four days last week down in Washington DC to attend the Realscreen Summit for the first time. This conference brings together everyone who’s anyone in non-fiction TV programming, and it was an amazing opportunity to pitch our new projects, do some networking and catch up with old friends and former colleagues.
We went into Realscreen with four series to pitch and got a really positive response to all of them. We’re hoping to have some exciting news about the status those projects very soon so stay tuned!

Hope 2013 has been treating everyone well so far! Mad Fusion Media kicked the year off with our very own channel on NickMom.com highlighting both the first set of Mom Shopping Network spots and the new ones currently running online and on air.
We changed up the second cycle to give them more of a Home Shopping Network feel and it was a lot of fun producing them. Here’s a peek at the first one – The Chatterbox!

A new spot launches every month so check back again soon to see the latest and greatest!
