When you have a toddler, a fairly innocuous word in the English vocabulary becomes one that you truly dread – “Why?” It’s amazing how your little one can use it repeatedly and for extended periods of time. And after a while, the old “Because….” doesn’t do the trick anymore and you have to come up with a satisfying response or face a barrage of more questions. ”Why do dogs bark?” ”Why don’t they talk?” ”But why?” ”Why?” ”WHY?!?!?!?!” It’s enough to drive you insane.
Enter our latest “Don’t you wish this really existed” Mom Shopping Network spot for NickMom, The Whyner. I bet you’d pay a whole lot more than $39.95 for one of these babies!
Looking for something new and different to watch this weekend? Then tune in to the premiere of “Can Dinner Save My Family?” on Food Network on Saturday, March 30th at 3:00 pm EST. I consulted on the pilot and really believe in the concept – that eating dinner together can can help troubled families. The show repeats on Sunday, March 31st at 5:30 pm EST and you can check out a sneak peek here:
It’s always fun coming up with the “products” for the Mom Shopping Network spots we produce for NickMom. They’re a combination of the ridiculously outrageous (like The Motivator) and the kind-of-crazy-but-I-still-wish-it-existed (I would sign up for the Pretend You’re Perfect Kits in a nanosecond!). The latest short definitely falls into the latter category. It’s something I’d buy no matter what the price and I dare you not to want some Mollification for yourself after watching this:
The snow is falling fast here in Rhode Island, so we thought what better way to brave the blizzard than with a little humor. The latest Mom Shopping Network spot is now running on Nick.com and on air and you can check it out here:
We don’t know about you, but considering well probably be cooped up inside for the next day or two, this is one product we wish was real right now!
Danielle spent four days last week down in Washington DC to attend the Realscreen Summit for the first time. This conference brings together everyone who’s anyone in non-fiction TV programming, and it was an amazing opportunity to pitch our new projects, do some networking and catch up with old friends and former colleagues.
We went into Realscreen with four series to pitch and got a really positive response to all of them. We’re hoping to have some exciting news about the status those projects very soon so stay tuned!
Danielle spent six months of 2012 on Staten Island Executive Producing a new series for OWN and it’s finally hitting the air this week!
“Staten Island Law” follows two fast-talking best friends named Elura and Michele, who use their law degrees to help keep people with disputes out of court via mediation. Together, they juggle crazy cases and their big Italian families with humor, heart and a huge dose of Staten Island sass.
Check out the first five minutes of “Staten Island Law” below – we dare you not to fall in love with Elura and Michele!
And be sure to tune in to the series premiere on Saturday, January 12th at 9:00 pm EST/PST.
Hope 2013 has been treating everyone well so far! Mad Fusion Media kicked the year off with our very own channel on NickMom.com highlighting both the first set of Mom Shopping Network spots and the new ones currently running online and on air.
We changed up the second cycle to give them more of a Home Shopping Network feel and it was a lot of fun producing them. Here’s a peek at the first one – The Chatterbox!
A new spot launches every month so check back again soon to see the latest and greatest!
